    By a unanimous vote of HCHC's Board of Trustees on May 10, 2021, Rev. Dr. George Parsenios has been appointed Dean of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and Professor of New Testament with tenure. In announcing the appointment, HCHC President George M.   • HCHC TO HOST VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT ON MAY 15, 2021

    In order to ensure the continued safety of its campus community during the ongoing pandemic, Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology will host its baccalaureate and graduate school Commencement ceremonies virtually this year, honoring the classes of both 2020 and 2021.   • HOLY CROSS LAUNCHES NEW ONE-YEAR CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

    Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology is launching a new one-year program in the 2020-2021 academic year: the Certificate in Youth and Young Adult Ministry and Leadership. The program is designed for those who have completed their bachelor's degrees and wish to deepen their theological knowledge while developing skills and understanding necessary for effective ministry to young people.   • KALLINIKEION INSTITUTE GOES ONLINE FOR 2020

    The Kallinikeion Institute at Hellenic College Holy Cross is an intensive Modern Greek language program sponsored by the Kallinikeion Foundation, offering two courses in Modern Greek, one at the beginning level and one at the intermediate level, with all classes taught by members of the HCHC faculty.     The HCHC community was delighted to welcome back Jennifer Rice recently while she was on furlough from her work as a missionary in the Guatemalan village of Aguacate under the auspices of the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC). During her days on campus, Jennifer spoke to students about her experience as a missionary at Vespers and at an evening event hosted by the students' Missions Committee.     HCHC was well represented at the National Conference on Missions and Evangelism held February 3-5, 2020, at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio. The theme of the conference, which was made possible by a grant from Leadership 100, was "Leading Change Toward a Healthier Parish." Fr.
